This Four Hundred Grand Offerings ritual was passed down by Lord Buddha to overcome aggressive demonic forces and spirit harm which was prevalent during Buddha's time. This Puja is done as a means to pacify obstacles caused by the four demons - mental afflictions; attachment to happiness; clinging, and death. Performing this puja helps effectively in overcoming these obstacles, especially those caused by spirit harm and demonic forces. This puja also aids in overcoming charms and spells, purifying all inauspicious energy.
